LOCATION: This role is located at the Foundation office in Cork City.
Some home working will be allowed on occasion, however, this is a
busy, leadership role that requires visibility and presence in the
office, hospital, and Cancer Care Centre, as well as around Cork so it
will be important that the successful candidate is happy to be based
in the office full-time.
ABOUT THE MERCY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION:
Since *, the Mercy University Hospital
Foundation has been working with its donors and supporters to provide
lifesaving, life-changing support to the Mercy University Hospital
(MUH) and its patients.
The Foundation is responsible for developing giving opportunities and
encouraging charitable contributions from within the community towards
the work being carried out in MUH.
Funds raised through the Foundation are used to purchase
state-of-the-art equipment, support leading-edge research, enhance and
develop services, and help MUH staff in providing exceptional patient
care and service in a leading Irish hospital.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Mercy University Hospital Foundation is now seeking a CEO with
significant senior management experience within the not-for-profit
sector, ideally with a strong background in healthcare or a related
field, to lead its committed, passionate team. The new CEO will build
on the achievements and legacy of the previous CEO,
